I
would like to take this opportunity to welcome you
to the Washington Parish School System. The
Washington Parish School Board and Administration
work diligently to provide the best education
possible for all students. The Washington Parish
School System serves twelve schools composed of
approximately 4500 students. There are about 800
employees with approximately 400 of those in
teaching positions. We are pleased to have the
opportunity to work with the students in Washington
Parish. We realize that the students of today are
the future of tomorrow. This being the case, we
strive to provide our students with an environment
that will allow each student to grow to a
productive, functional level in society.
With the administrators, teachers, parents,
students, and the community working together we can
continue being a system that is ranked among the top
in the state. We ask you to continue supporting the
efforts of the Washington Parish School System. Our
efforts are to continue making our children's
education a top priority in Washington Parish.
