The Washington Parish Adult
Education program helps adults in the Washington
Parish area enhance their life-coping skills and
improve their lives through basic education, job
training, high school completion, and enrichment
classes. We help our students become more effective
lifelong learners, family members, workers, and
citizens.
- We offer Adult Basic Education classes in
City1, City2, City3 and City4.
- We schedule high school credit courses in
Washington Parish.
- We are a G.E.D. testing center - over NUMBER
people passed the G.E.D. here in the 2005-06
school year.
- We provide English for Speakers of Other
Languages.
- We administer the Washington Parish Adult
Tutorial Program for adults unable to attend
classes.
- We provide life skills classes for clients
of Behavioral Health & Development Services of
Washington Parish.
- We offer a vocational skills class for teens
who have dropped out of school.
- We provide a vocational class for people on
public assistance.
- We offer classes from astronomy to
computers, cooking, drawing, crafts, digital
photography, Reiki, and whittling.
- Our on-site computer teaching lab features
small classes at convenient schedules.

educational programs that the Washington Parish School
