Athletics offer our students another venue for competing and excelling.  All sports sanctioned by the Louisiana High School Activities Association (LHSAA) and the Washington Parish School Board. Most sports are offered on both the Varsity and Junior Varsity level. 

The sports and activity programs in the Washington Parish School District are supported at an approximate cost of only one percent of the overall school district’s budget. Indeed, high school activity programs are one of the best bargains around. It is in these vital programs—sports, music, speech, drama, debate—where young people learn important lifelong lessons.

These extracurricular activities have three areas of benefits for young people:
